Part 1: Your Account

If you've made it this far, you already have an account. You can update details about your account by clicking on the symbol in the top right. From there, you'll be able to set your display name, bio, and your profile photo. You can also change your password or log out from here.

Information you add to your account will be displayed next to all of your posts, and your bio can be seen from your wall. If you want to know where your wall is, find a link with your name on it somewhere and click it! You could also click here.

An important note: some changes to your profile won't show up right away. You might have to refresh the page after hitting "Save Changes" to see the results.

Part 2: Making Posts

Okay, it's time to get out there and say hello! Look for the main post feed with the icon and click on it to navigate to Morning Musings. From there, click on the 'new post' button to bring up the post form. Here are some of the things you can do while writing a post:

Text Formatting

The buttons at the top of the post form will apply formatting to the post when it is published. Italic text, bold text, and links are some of the styles available. Try them out!

Image Attachment

Have you got a meme or a cool picture you'd like to share with the community? Click on the "No File Selected" button to attach an image and it will be shared alongside your post.

Announcements

Have something that you want everyone to hear? Use the dropdown beside "Make Post" to select a group for notification. "Everyone" will make an announcement, and there will be options to notify specific groups in the future.

Once you've crafted your post, send it off to the community and see what happens!

Part 3: Getting Social

Here's the fun part - seeing what other people are up to! The post feed contains all of the posts made so far in chronological order.

As you scroll down, you might see some other posts you'd like to read. You can click "Read More" to expand long posts, and you can click on images to get a better view. You can also, of course, wave at posts and comment your thoughts on them.

If you'd like to get a bit more direct, you can post on someone's wall by finding their profile from the Passengers tab and clicking on it. Once you're on their page, you can make a post there in the same way that you'd post on the main feed. Wall posts are visible to everyone, but they will not show up in the main stream of posts.

When someone posts on your wall, likes your post, comments on a post you've made, or makes an announcement, you'll get a notification. You can check your notifications by clicking on the icon at the top of the page. Now get out there and say hi to your friends!
